As an International Baccalaureate student at The Clinton School, I love exploring how different subjects connect and challenge me to think in new ways. My favorite classes—HL Math, Global Politics, and Biology—push me to analyze the world from multiple angles, while courses like Film and Spanish let me express ideas creatively and connect across cultures.
Outside the classroom, I’ve taken the initiative to start and lead projects that bring people together. I co-founded our Business Club, where students learn about entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance through discussions, guest speakers, and hands-on projects. I also serve as Co-President of DECA, training members for competitions in business strategy and pitching—our team even won 1st Place at the NYC Regionals in the Entrepreneurship event.
I’m also part of the Participatory Budgeting Committee, where I helped evaluate proposals and allocate school funds to improvement projects, and I work as a Peer Tutor, helping other students with math and Spanish. These experiences have taught me how much I enjoy collaboration, mentorship, and creating opportunities for others to learn and grow.
International Baccalaureate Program
Class of 2025
As part of the IB Diploma Program at The Clinton School, I’m taking higher-level courses in Math, Global Politics, and Biology and standard-level courses in Film, Spanish, and Language & Literature. I love how IB connects critical thinking with creativity—one day I might be analyzing global trade, and the next I’m storyboarding a short film.
DECA (Co-President)
2024 - Present
As Co-President of DECA, I help lead weekly meetings for more than 100 members and guide students through marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship challenges. My team won 1st Place at the NYC Regionals in the Entrepreneurship category, and I love helping others discover their confidence and voice in business competitions.
Business Club (Founder & Co-President)
2025 - Present
I started the Business Club to create a space for students curious about entrepreneurship and the business world. We meet weekly to talk about real-world startups, develop project ideas, and learn practical skills like pitching and financial planning.
Peer Tutoring
2024 - Present
I volunteer as a Peer Tutor, helping other students in math and Spanish. I love breaking down tough concepts and watching someone’s confidence grow with each session—it’s one of the most rewarding things I do at school.
Participatory Budgeting Committee
2025
As a member of the Participatory Budgeting Committee, I worked with teachers and students to review proposals and decide how to spend school funds for improvement projects. It taught me how collaboration and budgeting can directly shape our community.
